OFFICIAL PR :
In the vast expanse of space lies a mysterious but strangely familiar alien world… …full of cute creatures, hidden surprises and more fun than life itself… Clear the landing field, because the Pikmin 3 Deluxe lands on the 30th. October quickly became the Nintendo Switch family of systems. Originally released for Wii U, Pikmin 3 opens the door to the Nintendo Switch with new content, new collaborative gameplay features and a variety of settings to help newcomers get started. These little Pikmins are ready to take you on their greatest adventure, so take a look at your Pikmin train in the game’s first trailer.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is not your garden adventure. A team of three explorers and a team of charming Pikmin in search of survival have filled puzzles to solve and many creatures to fight. After an emergency landing you can explore a variety of lush places, such as the remote snow-covered tundra, the River Twilight and the Garden of Hope – all full of beautiful and impressive life forms.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe brings the classic Nintendo Switch franchise to life by introducing a new audience to its favourite characters and gameplay and welcoming returning players with new challenges, said Nick Chavez, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nintendo of America. With Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Nintendo Switch’s software library continues to grow and offers a variety of games to explore and enjoy.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe offers a host of additions and enhancements, including the ability to play the entire Story mode in cooperative mode with a friend, new missions in Side Story mode that can also be played cooperatively, and all levels of DLC in Mission mode once the game is released. With new complexity options, location, extra prompts and quieter gameplay, it’s easier than ever to join in the fun of Pikmin, enjoy the beautiful scenery and get a taste of what this vibrant world has to offer. Pikmin 3 Deluxe also includes fun features from the original game, such as an in-game camera that allows players to photograph lush gaming environments and curious creatures from the perspective of a pint.
With several Pikmin for friendship and command, you’ll have a team ready to face any obstacle you encounter. The different colors of the Pikmin offer many useful skills and strengths for your missions. For example, the Blue Pikmin can breathe underwater to help you collect objects that other Pikmin can’t reach, while the winged Pikmin, which have pink hues and flapping wings, can fly over land surfaces such as water and potholes. Strategically choosing the right Pikmin for the task, delegating projects and changing captains can all contribute to victory.
For experienced players ready to use their Pikmin skills for new challenges, Pikmin 3 Deluxe has been expanded with new side quests in which Olimar and Louie explore the planet PNF-404. And for the fun of shooting the Pikmin in the battle of Bingo, there are even head-to-head multiplayer matches.
Your little Pikmin team is ready to go with you on a big adventure! For more information about Pikmin 3 Deluxe, visit https://pikmin3.nintendo.com. Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be available in stores on November 30th, at Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch and on Nintendo.com for $59.99.
